THE CONCEPT

From over 60 years of experience in our 3-generations of Chiang Mai-based family-run furniture and real estate businesses, we have proudly launched a complex called "THE KANNAS" comprising of a serviced apartment and the attached mini community mall in February 2018 from our love and passion.


We believe that travelling should be about exploring the city and experiencing the culture like a true local. However, when it comes to accommodations, they should be just as comfortable as staying at home, and that is how we agreed that the concept of a serviced apartment is the perfect answer. With the concept of "home" at the heart of the design, our designer carefully crafted the rooms to create a balance between beauty and function in a warm-beige colour tone, modern-contemporary style.


With respect to our services, we try our best to go above and beyond to serve you as we are lead by a team of skilful staffs with over 10 years of experiences in the hospitality industry.

FAQs


1. WHAT IS A SERVICED APARTMENT ?

Serviced apartments have the services and facilities similar to a hotel with added space and convenience like home such as a kitchen with electric hob, a private living room, a walk-in closet and a washing machine (only available in some room types).

2. CAN I CHECK-IN EARLY ?

Yes, only if the room is available upon your arrival, free of charge. The earliest check-in time (subjected to the above condition) would be 10.00AM.

3. CAN I CHECK-OUT LATE ?

Yes, however, a late check-out between 1.00PM - 4.00PM will be charged 50%, check-out after 4.00PM will be charged a 100% of the nightly rental rate.

4. CAN I COOK IN THE APARTMENT ?

Yes you can. electric hobs, pots and pans are available in all apartments, except for studios where only light cooking is possible.

5. WHEN DO I NEED TO PAY?

For all bookings, a 100% 1-month advanced payment (cash, bank transfer, credit card) need to be paid either during reservation (for promotions), before arrival, or during check-in. Please be aware that a 1-month deposit in THB is also required during prior to moving in. Payments thereafter can be paid at the beginning of each contract month.

6. CAN I LEAVE LUGGAGES WITH YOU ?

Yes, subjected to availability of the storage space. Free of charge for 1-day storage, an extra charge of 150THB/day/piece applied afterwards.

7. HOW TO COMMUTE AROUND TOWN ?

Renting private transportation would be the best option if you are familiar with the routes (please contact us if you need any assistance). With public transportations, Grabtaxi is the best option, following by red cars. Walking from our place to other sites is however highly not recommended (apart from walking to the National Museum).

8. DO YOU PROVIDE BABY COT ?

We unfortunately do not have a baby cot available just yet. However, we are working on improving the facilities and amenities for babies and young children.

9. HOW TO GO TO YOUR PLACE ?

From the airport, the Airport Limousine Service would be the best option (~250-300THB). Please kindly inform them of the name "The Kannas Khuang-singh", or simply ask them to call us via 061-265-8080. From other places, please be adviced to use Grabtaxi.

THE MEANING OF THE NAME "KANNAS"


The name "Kannas" comes from the word "Cannas" (ดอกพุทธรักษา), a type of flower symbolising a Thai Father's Day.


The name of the flower in Thai translates to "blessings and protection from the Lord Buddha" so Thais would give this flower to their father to show love and respect.


Similarly, this Kannas project arises from the endless support and guidance our father has given us so we would like to pass on this warmth and well-wishing to our guests as well.
